Portion sizes and pricing swing widely across this group, from a $10 lunch bowl to a multi-course tasting menu at an upscale sushi counter, so checking recent reviews and photos is more useful than the price range alone. In Dublin, dinner reservations for popular izakaya, hot pot and Korean BBQ spots fill up on Friday and Saturday nights, so booking ahead or arriving at opening is worth it. Many restaurants across California run daily lunch specials on weekdays that are not listed on the dinner menu, so it is worth asking. Halal, vegetarian and gluten-free options vary a lot by kitchen; call ahead if you have a dietary restriction rather than assuming the menu will note it.

Dublin is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. Getting around Dublin is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across California's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

It has been a few years since my last visit to Burma Burma on San Ramon Rd, and it is wonderful to see the neighborhood gem remains incredible. The tea leaf salad continues to be a standout and my favorite! The green beans and veg curry didn’t disappoint either.

I came here for Mother’s Day with a reservation — I’d recommend booking a few days in advance to avoid a wait. This wasn’t my first time having Burmese food, but it was my mom and aunt’s first time, and they absolutely loved it. We were seated right away and had the pleasure of being served by Pone, who was fantastic. He recommended his favorites and gave us a helpful tip to order our entrees alongside our appetizers to cut down on wait time — really appreciated that! For appetizers we had the samosas, platha, salt pepper swai and the rainbow salad. If you’re deciding between the rainbow salad and the tea leaf salad, I’d go with the rainbow — a personal favorite! For our entrees we ordered the lemongrass chicken, black pepper lamb, garlic shrimp and eggplant, all of which were delicious. Overall a wonderful experience and we will definitely be coming back. A huge thank you to Pone for making our Mother’s Day dinner so memorable! 🥢

I enjoy my meal every time I come here, now three or four times. The tea leaf salad is a must. The basil chili chicken and beef kebat are also delicious. Samosa appetizer is also great for a bigger party. FYI portions are large and great for sharing!

I have eaten here several times and its a joy every time. I dont get to go often but its well worth it to treat yourself every once in a while. The staff is nice and attentive even when things are busy and they are always cautious about food allergies (which I appreciate). My favorites are: - the palata with any of the curries - the green tea salad (I dont always get this one but it is good) - pine nut fried rice is excellent ❤️ - garlic noodles - pepper sauce with beef - sesame chicken The desserts are all great too if you like the ingredients On last note: he place can get kind of busy and loud so plan accordingly. Parking can be a little tough too since the area is popular

We were looking for Burmese restaurants in the Tri-Valley when we came across this one with good ratings. We ordered some standard Burmese specialties: Tea Leaf Salad, Burmese Garlic Shrimp, and Ohn-No-Khao-Swe. We went with the standard spice level since we didn’t specify anything while ordering. The Tea Leaf Salad was just okay - nothing extraordinary. The Burmese Garlic Shrimp could have been better, we felt it was a little bland. The same was true for the Ohn-No-Khao-Swe (coconut noodle soup), and we had to ask for a spicy sauce to compensate. Overall, we felt the dishes could have been much better, as we’ve had better versions at other places. The service was good, but we were not satisfied with our lunch.
